Coupe rear seat cupholder conversion

my Coupe has a flat tray in the front middle of the rear center console - the manual show this location as an optional cupholder. any one have this or change it?

got kids....only for water bottles with lids. they are trained well.

Oh snap. That's kinda nice. The current thing we have is really useless. Anyone in the back can basically only put their phone there.

agree - even thier cell phones would fly off the way I drive.

Chinoortega - any pics of it open? is it usefull for like water bottles?

I thought it was standard?
In Canada it is, even on the 328/335 models.

Show us a pic of what yours looks like without the cupholder there

nope - not in the usa - we get this shallow worthless tray.

you mean there is no lid on the tray? that is correct - it has no lid or cover.

zero food here - but occaisional drinks with screw on lids such as small water bottles.

It's a nice feature and it really holds the botttle in place much better than the cup holders in front.

US console - same except picture that drink holder area as a flat tray about 1/2 inch deep - oh maybe 2 cm, for you canucks...... will try to snap one later.

Im curious to see how it would look without it...but it is defintely a better cupholder then the front ones!

Considering how much cheaper US cars are versus ROW, it not to bad that the only cut corners in US spec are the lack of Euro seat bottoms and this cup holder.

Not a big deal but would prefer the water bottle holder.
