October 24th Calabogie

A couple of us are heading up to Calabogie for a lapping day on October 24th.We will be leaving Toronto on Friday afternoon the 23rd,staying in Calabogie on the the Friday night at the Calabogie Motor Inn for both the Friday & Saturday night & driving back to TO on the Sunday AM.It is only 4 hours from Toronto or 3 hours from Montreal.
If you have not had the chance to drive CMP you are missing out on something that is very special as it is unmatched by any other track in North America.One of my buddies who is coming up,will be renting one of the track Mustangs that are available for lapping.

It would be great if we could get a bunch of M3's to come up and finish the season off with a great weekend on a fantastic track.Be sure to check the video's out on the site.

It is $350 for the trackday + $50 orientation for 1st timers and whatever else that it be for lodging & food.I think we are paying $99 at The Calabogie Motor in.The thinking is that we arrive Friday evening,track all day Saturday and party in the night and leave for home Sunday morning or maybe do another day on the track on Sunday.

I will definitely go if I'm in town. Last chance before winter sets in. Should know in a few days.

I'm out of town at the moment but should be back in time for Oct 2nd, which looks likely.

As it sits right now I have plans for that weekend (or shall I say my wife does).

I have to see if I can work something out but I am not going to hold my breath on this one.

I sure wish I could make it up. It's a great track with 4 long straights and many complex's of turns. Have fun everyone.

Should know in the next couple of days if I will be able to make this trip. Certainly hoping too! Who know's - might have a new exhaust by then!
