I just drop my wife off at the door because she knows I will be circling the lot for 10 minutes.

Sounds about right. I enjoy hearing the engine start every time, esp the cold engine start.

LOL, I love these threads.

In my case, I am the wife and I totally converted the husband. He steals my car all the time!

We are both OCD about it (parking lots, scratches, etc.), it drives us nuts!

And yes, I hug the dash too.

I can't say I've hugged the dash. I do like to enjoy sitting in the car every now and then and just... relax.

Living in the city, I don't really get to enjoy it much so I just try and absorb my time as much as I can.

All OK except the over 5500 RPM thing. I went over twice and the whole car exploded. Lucky I wasn't killed.

All if those are just normal. If people can't find me, I'd usually be at my car most of the time or out for a walk(1% maybe).

By-the-way, thank you for posting and breaking the ice.
Yeah definitely my anxiety level been up since I got this car, just constantly concerned but I don't know why. But... Generally so freaking happy.

Absolutely so. Just got back from a 45 min. drive on Skyline Boulevard in the Oakland hills.

N.B.: I just picked up my car around 15 Dec.
