Exhaust tips need polishing
My exhaust tips are very dull right now, almost to the point of appearing like a "brushed" finished steel instead of polished. I have tried giving them a good wipe-down with a MF towel and metal polish but they still dont come out shiny.
Anyone have any recommendations? Is there a better technique or pad/towel I should use? If possible, I prefer to be able to use regular auto part store products instead expensive/fancy boutique internet products. Thanks! |

Simichrome metal polish paste (got it a NAPA auto parts store) made my old OEM exhaust tips looks like new (now it's just stored off the car...). Flitz is a similar product. Steel wool needs to be ultra fine or it can do damage, be careful with that.
