JleviSW & My Experience with Poor Quality CF Parts

I read a review in a BMW magazine and heard good things about JleviSW and so I decided to order my first parts from them for my newly acquired M3.

I ordered side gills and hood vents in CF from JleviSW and when I received them I found the quality to very poor. There was a thumb print in the clearcoat of one of the gills and the hood vents had rough unfinished edges as well a white fleck in the finish.

Their answer after reviewing photos I took of the parts was that this was the "quality" that they received them from their supplier (I'm assumng in Taiwan/China).
Further they stated that they wouldn't be sending replacment parts because they would be of the same quality... and they were out of stock anyway.

They only agreed to credit me the cost of the parts... I'm out shipping charges and taxes paid.

This definitely puts off any plans to order future upgrades from JleviSW.

Sadly the quality of little CF parts like that seems to be lacking from most vendors. I purchased CF kidney grills from Jlevi before, never again. The only nice CF hood vent i have seen was from vertice...but those are $800.

As far as the response you received from jlevi that really sucks, and the excuse they made is horrible. "Their answer after reviewing photos I took of the parts was that this was the "quality" that they received them from their supplier" Its sad to a know a vendor like that can be prospering so well
