GT:5 out in 2/2/10? [Megathread]

I'm only half way on level 27, with only one endurance race completed. Need to find a free weekend and work on endurance races. Not looking forward to...
I'm kinda ignoring the historic race until I get my Jag XJ13....

You'll win that on the 3rd (or was it 4th?) endurance race I think. That's exactly what I did. A level 16-17 B-Spec driver plus a fully modded XJ13 will get you the win in the Deep Forest, which was the tougher one for me. Gotta keep your eye on the Toyota 7 and Chapparal starting positions.

Doing all 5 Seasonal Events got me up to a low Lv29. Such a painful place to be at, I just want to get my X1 now please! I want to see what all the hype is about with that car.

I just did a quick race around Indy, just to see how much XP I need to reach Lv30.

584,313!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to do that American race around Indy 131 times to get that! Getting gold on all 5 Season Events still wouldnt net me that much! This is ridiculous!

which unfortunately repeating seasonal races won't get you anything...=/

Oh wow. I didn't know it was only 30 in A-Spec. I'm on 29 a little past halfway. Hopefully these new seasonal events and some online racing will get me there.

Anyone know the specs on the X1 err X2010? Heard it has around 1500hp

You can do it with the 74 LP400 Lambo fully modded. You have to make sure to get in front by the first turn on both races or you are cooked. If you do get in front they really cant catch you for some reason unless you screw up bad. You have to be really agressive and find the holes at the front stretch before the turn. The one at Monaco is harder since it is narrow streets. Brake really late and be all the way to the right of the pack, and you will get it.

Use these settings:

Trans 162mph
ride height -10/-10
springs leave stock or raise slightly
brakes 6/4
full Downforce--must buy wing
Differential- 25/40/35

Mine has 1556hp and i havent been able to top it out but it gets to 290mph with ease. For shits and giggles i lapped the nurburgring in the x2010 and did a low 4 minute lap hitting pretty much every wall. The car is ridiculous and defies gravity.

man I want this car but I am at level 28 with no hope in sight of getting to level 35 anytime soon. I can not do the endurance races. I just do not have the time. I have to wait weeks and weeks for the new seasonal events to make a dent in each level.

I guess mods (if any) or oil change etc will vary the numbers....

Still kinda hesitate to start endurance races in Tsukuba....one 4 hrs and one 9 hours...WTF?

Maybe Indy 500 or Suzuka 1000km....

feels like...gotta suck it up and just do it...

Laguna Seca 200miles seems "short" enough..

Tsukuba 4 hours was rough, but every now and then I'd make things interesting and try drifting the whole track since I had like a 20 lap lead. Just did the Indy 500 with my FGT and that was actually kind of boring....

I didn't even touch the a spec endurances until I had the X1, the X1 makes shit much better as your lap times are cut in half.

(means for a 4 hour race, you only have to actually race for 2-3 hours and then watch some TV)

I heard from GTPlanet some people will just let the game run and park their car on the side and went to bathroom or something...

Since they had a 20+ lap ahead...

I thought I did the Grand Valley 300km (60 laps) was already dull enough with my 458 tuned....20 laps into the race I was already settled in and drove like a robot....my gf was talking to me while watching her Korean Drama on lap top like going on a long road trip...

PD is really brutal and stupid to put endurance races like this...

I thought the 4 hour races mean that you had to run your car for 4 full hours. Is there a lap limit then? I have not even bothered looking yet. I started doing B-spec last night, and gave my guy a 1000hp Viper ACR. he was all over the place.lol My boy Yang Lee does not have the ballz for the car yet.
