E92 M3 W/ DINAN UPGRADES: 3.62 Diff, ECU FLASH, INTAKE, THROTTLE BODIES, EXHAUST

Just installed the DINAN 3.62 Diff, DINAN ECU Flach, DINAN High Flow Intake, DINAN High Flow Throttle Bodies, and DINAN Free Flow Exhaust.

First difference I noticed, how it sounded. Much better. Now you can tell you have an exhaust on the car. Has clean bass and throat at the low RPM's and sounds real clean going through the higher RPM's. It's louder all around but by no means obnoxious which was exactly what I was looking for. To describe it best, it sounds like the car is breathing better.

I was concerned about the 3.62 Diff. How much higher were my RPM's going to be going 80mph down the road. I was surprised to find out not much at all. From what I can tell, I don't think I went up more than 200rpm. The shifts are noticeably tighter through 1st & 2nd. You can still get to 60MPH through 2nd but you have to be in manual mode and use the extra 200 RPM the ECU Flash gives you to 8600RPM.

So the additional 50 lb/ft of torque with the didn't make a "day and night" difference ?

Any pics? What did you do with your Dinan badge? Seems too big for my taste and compared to the new 'smaller' M badging on the E9X's.

Wish I could say it did. Am I disappointed no. Like I said, it is noticeably faster. Just saying, if you plan on going with this setup, don't expect to step into a new car.

I'll post pics tomorrow. No Dinan badge. I think the car looks better without it.

Thinking about it. Haven't really looked into yet. I'd imagine it'd make the car loud as hell right?..

So you spent thousands and thousands of dollars for a deeper exhaust note and a slight difference in power? If you were the marketing guy for DINAN you would be fired.

LOL

That made me laugh...

Personally ... my car felt completely different after putting on my AA ECU, AA Pulley, AA Catless X-Pipe , AA Exhaust and Macht Schnell filter.

Good thing I'm not the marketing guy for DINAN.

You sound like a marketing guy yourself .
People here are interested in results, not marketing. I have yet to see an ad that doesn't at least exaggerate the truth. But thanks to the internet, most can't get away with that for long . Good day.

I say go for it just to see how it is. It looks pretty legit. I'm thinking about getting it, but my Dinan guy at the local dealer hasn't called me back yet..I think you'll have to get your car's ecu reflashed again so it won't throw any CELs..

I don't think it'll be nearly as loud as other mid-pipe options out there. For one, you'll have a total of four resonators. Also, as you know from having the Dinan axle-back exhaust, it's one of the quietest aftermarket options out there. Dinan likes to stay pretty subtle.

In terms of performance, of all the individual changes that you've already made, you'd probably feel the difference with the mid-pipe the most of any of them.

Why would I feel a difference in the mid-pipe over the rest of the mods?
