My first M3

I've been browsing the forums for about 6 months... But let this be my first post where I can contribute with something!

My First M3

2011 E92, beautifully coated in Hot Melbourne Red

. Fully loaded... Options: If there was a checkmark on bmwusa.com, I made sure I had it (with the exception of the Power Rear Sunshade)... So it is DCT, ZCP and all that stuff...

I did European Delivery back in August... Was there for 5 days... Posting a few pics in Europe... Too busy driving so I took very few pictures...

I was freaked out or excited to comprehend what I was doing then so the camera was just part of the luggage that I never used...

In summary, I drove -broke in the engine, through the Alps from Munich to Geneva, Switzerland... Went up to Frankfurt, did 1,200 mile service... Drove up to Nurburg, did 4 laps in the Nurburgring and drove back to Munich. A total of 1,750 miles...

[EDIT] First time posting pics!

Waited not-so-patiently until October to get it!!! All in all, it took 7 weeks from the moment I dropped it off in MUnich to picking it up at the dealer in NJ. It arrived on my birthday... Only one pic at the dealer... No time for pictures, I just wanted to take it home...

While I was waiting, I contacted Autocouture Motoring in NJ. Emailed heavily back and forth (still do) Bart from Autocouture and he has been my consigliere regarding what I want to do to the car... Mind you, I HAVE NEVER modified any car in my life...

First mod - Akrapovic EVO full exhaust (Carbon Tips) + ESS Tune... Thanks to all the folks at Autocouture Motoring in NJ. All A+ quality people... I can't describe enough the customer service of those guys - I will do my own post with my review soon. This time, I took more than a few pics...

No, I did not order that exhaust or the carbon fiber options... I guess I chose all boxes but omitted also those that are installed by the dealer

Congrats. It's a great feeling isn't it? Funny how a piece of machinery, and then manufactured pieces of art, can really put a huge smile on your face. It's money well spent.....it provides comfort and joy for the soul.
