In the middle of the curve (assuming flat track and car has settled) you do fully rely on springs and sway bar only. The dampers have -at this point- not much to say. With stock springs I was riding on bump stops all the time. My spring rates in comparison to other race E92 M3 are not much different. However, I use my car for track/DD (90/10). I would not recommend to test ride deep pot holes.

I am going to live with my car this way for now. Yes VIR likely in Spring. Given I only drove 6-7 laps in the newer F8X chassis. One of the areas where I was impressed was ability to put the power down. If you recall you and I were neck to neck at VIR speed wise but coming out of the corners, I felt I had more ability to put the power downright and outright even with increased torque. Yes the predictive diff or whatever they call it on the M4 really works as evidenced in our real life case. Am not an engineer but this thing works as promised: http://www.bmwblog.com/2014/08/06/bm...-differential/ How much of this is diff is hard to pin point because remember this car was also staggered. IMO the best mod or change of, I EVER did is to stuff the biggest tires I could get for the back. The 275s were getting overwhelmed. Try the staggered setup and thank me later. You can put in wider tires on the 10 inch wide wheels of yours (back only) before jumping to larger rear wheels (what I did and found the bigger tires at the back helpful in ability to put the power down). Hope this helps, yes not a straight answer but the variables were not constant. Cheers, Lutfy |

Just saw this, awesome! I went to the temporary Senna museum set up in Austin during F1 this year, was cool to see all the Senna memorabilia and learn about the legend.

Was just for funsies - 8/10ths effort, damp conditions. Didn't want to roll car in mud or die.

Virtual best is 1:59.59 - tried very hard to break underneath 2:00 on Sunday but couldn't do it - kept making little mistakes here and there that kept me around 2:01 consistently.
I'm shocked how long these RE-71Rs have lasted, not even corded yet and I really tried since they are almost bald away from the center. 16 sessions all told on the weekend for 5 hours of on-track time. Rears were just about bald starting out, and the fronts had only a little bit of wear left towards the shoulders when I started.
