All,
There is obviously a lot of questions surrounding this product. I know a lot of the members here on a personal basis and some simply through previous business transactions. There are a few individuals posting in all of the ADV1 threads with ulterior motives and that is part of the industry I could sit here and ask you to please refrain from posting in the threads if you are simply going to bash the product, etc but we all know that would be a waste of my time. I have also noticed there are a couple post regarding the delivery time of George's wheels. After visiting the shop for the software upgrade to 1.5 (which is still available at a special price ) he decided to go with these wheels, the purchase agreement clearly covers George if the wheels are not delivered in normal time. George was quoted 3-4 weeks by Jean due to the fact that with less than 20 BMW orders in at the moment (not including sets that we had available in house) this would not be an issue. The wheels were then sent overnight at our expense to get him up and running for the Indy Race this weekend. Most customers have gotten their wheels in the 2-3 week span and few closer to the 4 week mark for the Brushed Finishes. When an order is placed the customer is advised of his lead time and the paperwork to support it is filled out, similar to our other special order, IE Supercharger kits. Please let's keep the thread on topic, this is about George's order that he placed with Jean. If anyone has any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly via email, omurray@activeautowerke.com or phone 800.830.3596 ext 232. Thank you and I apologize for the lengthy read. p.s. Any local customers feel free to come by and check out the wheels in person. |

Here is the first batch...I am at work but I promise to have a few more pics up by tomorrow.
It is really hard to capture how concave they are so if anyone is in the area of south miami PM me. (Obviously I played with PShop on a couple) Tires are Nitto Envo: F) 245/30/20 R) 295/30/20 Last edited by m34jlp; 10-09-2009 at 01:57 PM.. |

Very nice. The straight on shot doesn't do it justice but in the side profile you can see the concave. Those 30 series tires look like rubber bands compared to the tires on your OEM 18s!
