Just picked up an 08

Grabbed it last week. Awesome car, what a motor. Also own an E36 M3 and a 73 2002tii. Used to own an E46 M3. Guess one day I will get an E30 M3 to complete the experience.

Looking forward to this board as a resource for modding. Shopping for wheels, springs and some minor engine stuff

I see that the Meisterschaft exhaust already came with the car. Nice pick up and really nice 2002.

You have a great eye. The Meisterschaft is fantastic, esp at WOT.

No it's a US car. Canadian dealers are still holding more in their cars and there isn't a lot of pre owned selection

Ah that's cool! Just a friendly reminder, US spec cars will need TPMS while Canadian ones won't. GL!

The E30 came much later than the 2002tii ... not the same thing. I really like that E36 though. Nice collection of BMWs!

congrats mate. this is what I call a BMW Fanatic. Sharp 2002. I used to have the same exact wheels on my MKII GTI. We are talking about 1 hour to clean the wheels. This is back in the day when Toothbrush was the only thing that used to fit in those triangular space.

Aint it the truth...they are a pain to clean, both the barrels and the lips which are raw aluminum. And you're right they are early GTI wheels rebuilt with a slight stagger for the 2002.

6MT, still getting used to the clutch pick-up which is light to me. My E36 has an AA Stage 2 clutch which is heavy (heavy enough that the OEM plastic clutch pedal broke and I replaced it with a Mason Engineering steel pedal)

The 2002 looks to be in great shape. I know it's "old" but that's a very nice looking BMW. And you have a great collection all around. Good luck on getting an E30 M3 to round out the collection.

Cheers.

Thanks. The 2002 is a lot of fun and it is an "analog" experience in a world of "digital"

Also perhaps an E21 Alpina B6 2.8 - as close to an E21 M car there ever was - to complete the experience.

Congrats, clean car.
