Nah, I'm not old enough to be considered "old", and I still think the sycamore is hawt Granted, I still prefer the CF leather, but that's because the sycamore sort of looks like crap on anything but the BB. Just personal opinion, obviously, but if I were to consider the wood trim, I better be considering the beige as well.
Nice choice RJ (RJ stands for Radiation Joe, but I was too lazy to type it out... but now that I've added this explanation, I've sort of defeated the purpose of abbreviating Radiation Joe, now haven't I?) |

Look at both colors in person and just choose what you like best.

BTW, I am mature and conservative. I refer to my e46 as the Pimpmobile (lowered with 19s). I just turned down an awesome deal on an M6 just because I thought it was too flashy. The lease would have cost me less than $100 more per month than the e90 M3 and about the same as an e92.

Fox Red is amazing, but it's a little too Miami Vice for me with the white exterior. I think it is best suited to metallic greys, silver, or black colours. With Alpine White you can't go wrong with black leather. Also, get the extended leather, I'm regretting not having it.

Extended adds leather to the center console and the bottom half of the dash. As for it effecting resale, I doubt it. If you have it, you can expect a percentage of it back when you sell, but the majority of people looking for used M3s will be looking for the best deal, not whether you have, or don't have, extended leather. Its a luxury, not a necessity. Personally, I would rather not have extended leather, even if it was free. Its a matter of preference.
Edit: Go to the nearest BMW dealer and look at FR. If you have any doubts... any doubt at flipping all, see it in person. If you love it, you love it, but it is NOT a color you want to have second thoughts about . |

i ordered a dct 08 IB with black, but if i was going to order again i would go with jerez with bamboo, would be the better choice for m3, i really dont like red interior. and there is too much AW m3. both transmitions are great, but i think that ordering 6MT is a mistake.

Why are you still asking these questions online, rather than going to the dealer and actually seeing this?
I went to the dealers and saw Jerez Black which I wanted but acutally hated it because the it was a gloomy day and just hated the color on the car. Also, I saw Fox Red Ext. which I had some doubts about but fell in love when I saw it in person. Just go to the dealer and stop asking this questions on whether or not to get this or that. I'm pretty sure they would even let you drive the M-DCT car too.

Mine is Bamboo partial...you get the benefit of black headliner, dash, carpet, doors, console, etc...but the contrast of bamboo which looks like raw leather.

I think you can't go wrong with any combo. All preference. All my friends hate the wood trim, I enjoy it everytime I look at it. I paid for the car anyway lol

I remember when I had a car tinted once, they put warning labels over the window switches not to roll them down for a while.
