Love it. Congrats. Ignore all the little fan boys. The V blows the M3 out of the water. Definitely considering a blacked out V. I also like how much more rare it is in Vancouver, compared to the M.

Did i not follow up with "what matters is that you're happy"??? It's a public forum, last time i checked people were allowed to state their opinions. I respect the car, but for me personally, it's not my taste...and i LOVE MR e90s. That's all...simple as that.

That may be fine, but I've been faster than EVERY V I've seen on track in the last 4 years, disliked the interior, and do not like the transmission...so IMHO it is a definite downgrade. Also, I am a fan of my car and am male, so am clearly a "fanboy" the insult is lost on me

Congrats on the CTS-V

The CTS is a larger car than the M3 for sure. It is supposed to compete with the M5 in terms of performance class. Also, the styling was fresh when it came out but it is starting to look a bit dated now.

The ATS looks a lot sharper and according to reviews drives a lot sharper. I'll wait for the ATS-V when that shows up.

No corvette V8 mo'or though. It'll only be a turbo six, supposedly making 380hp or so. Seems like it will be quite slower than the F80 M3.

And I wonder if you knew that the caddy has 142 more horsepower than an m3, on a track like the ring having that much more power should yield a bigger advantage than just six seconds.

Simple. Interior space doesn't matter to me. And for a car that I regularly take to the track, the M3 would be easier on the wallet. The extra 500 lb weight of the CTS V means more frequent tire and brake replacement.

Horsepower isn't everything. I'd trade power for a more fun driving experience any day.

From all reports, the ATS's chassis is stellar and beats BMW at it's own game. We'll see once the ATS-V comes out what that is about.
