2003.5 Carbon Black/cinnamon SMG M3 w/ oem CSL roof, lots of pics.

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
i just bought this car a few weeks ago from a fellow fanatic/ m3 forum goer, and this car just hasn't really done it for me, i just wasn't meant to own a black car, and i can't get over not having a full manual 6 speed like my 330xi before. but fortunately i ran across a fellow with a z4 M Coupe for sale who's in a similar boat as myself, so i'm just looking to sell this to get the z4mc.

asking 30kOBO, the car currently has 37500 miles.

this is all taken from the ad of when i bought the car. i've also just done a fluid flush on the transmission, diff, motor oil, and coolant, and made sure to do a good all around detail and constant weekly cleaning on the interior and a monthly waxing cycle.

Factory Options:
Premium Package (Power glass moonroof, memory power seats with lumbar support, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlight control, Nappa Leather)
Park Distance Control
Factory Installed Alarm
Aluminum Interior Trim
Bi-Xenon Headlights
Harman-Kardon Sound System
Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG II)
Park Distance Control
Car has auto door locks and the passenger side mirror tilt-down feather can be adjusted by the driver (not standard by default and was activated by the dealer at an additional cost)

Modifications and Extras:
The goal for enhancing the car was to keep it as stealthy and OEM as possible as I am not a very flashy person. All the parts (exterior, interior, performance, and audio ICE) were completed by M3 enthusiasts/experts (references available).

EXTERIOR
- OEM CSL Trunk
- OEM CSL Rear Diffuser
- OEM CSL Carbon Fiber Roof (w/ OEM CSL Roof Rails)
- Body Colored Bumper Reflectors
- Driver's Side Keyhole Cover
- Solaris Invisibulbs Electrum
- Predator Chromium Angel Eyes/DDEs
- xenon matching fog lights
- OEM Euro Folding Mirror with internal switch. The folding mirrors are integrated with the alarm/door lock- when the alarm is activated/when doors unlocked the mirrors automatically fold up and when the alarm is disengaged/doors unlocked the mirrors fold down.
*All OEM CSL parts were painted professionally by an experienced well respected body shop.
*All OEM CSL parts and OEM Euro Folding Mirrors were installed by an extremely experienced installer (references available upon request)

PERFORMANCE
- Bilstein PSS9 Adjustable Coilovers
- UUC Rasp-X (full stainless steel section 1 and 2 that gets rid of the M3 rasp)
- Eisenmann Race 83mm exhaust
- The combination of the RASP-X and the Eisenmann exhaust is fantastic. A very deep
sound and not too obnoxious.

INTERIOR
- OEM Euro Folding Tray
- Blue LED interior lights, i don't have them installed but they came with the car.
- Blue LED footwell lights

AUDIO (I.C.E.)
I am very much an audiophile and as much as I like listening to the M3 engine/exhaust I love music ranging from classical to rap. The goal for the audio system was first and foremost a clean sound, to keep it as OEM looking as possible, to save some trunk space, and to maintain a classy and subtle appearance. All the work was done by a professional installer with an enormous amount of experience specifically with the E46 M3 (references are available).

- ECLIPSE AVN-5435 Double Din Head Unit (Navigation/DVD)
- ECLIPSE AVN-5435 Remote Control (purchased separately)
- ECLIPSE CH3083 CD Changer
- MB Quart QSD216 Component Speakers
- JL Audio 300/4 Amplifier
- JL Audio 1000/1 Amplifier
- JL Audio 10W6v2 Subwoofer (x2)
- Custom install: false floor, custom box with see through plexi, aluminum inside bottom, mirrored, fires through ski pass through, cinnamon color highlights. Custom fiberglass amplifier rack that is custom molded to trunk. Laser Cut ///M3 plexi piece on top (part of false floor). Full custom lighting with professional/premium grade speaker wires, etc.
*All electronics were purchased from authorized dealers.
- IPOD connection kit (IPOD can be placed in Euro Tray and be played/charged simultaneously)
- PAC Converter (allows full use of the OEM steering wheel controls)
* The entire upper deck and lower trunk has been layered in DYNAMAT. There is zero rattling both in/outside the car. I find the rattling extremely annoying and not very classy. The labor cost for installing the Dynamat was well over $1500 alone.

The OEM CSL parts alone cost well over $12K. They are EXTREMELY difficult to find and all were imported directly from Germany. The HRE Wheels and Brembo BBKs were well over $10K and the performance (exhaust, coilovers, etc) and interior modifications were over $3K. The sound system was over $12K to provide some reference on some of the modifications made.

Please contact me if you have any questions at all. Thanks for looking and below are links to pictures of the car I posted on previous threads.

so that's all from the original ad for the car, i opted not to buy the oem csl front bumper(style didn't do it for me) so i bought a new oem one and got it painted and mounted.

here are some photos i took prior to getting the front bumper painted.
