Very nice! I have to test drive one of these things. They look and sound great. I too recently went British (Aston Martin Vantage) after only driving German cars for years and it is a nice change of pace.

That's one sexy car! Sure to turn heads and not only for the intoxicating up shifts.

Jaguar has stepped up their game for sure. Congratulations! Beautiful car, What's the aftermarket parts scene look like for the F-type?

I love this car. Congrats on the purchase and great color. What made you go for the convertible instead of the coupe?

I just started looking around but there isn't much, unfortunately. The good thing is not much I fell need to be changed from the stock vehicle presently.

Thank you! I chose the convertible because I missed the open top driving experience and I like having no roof blocking out the exhaust note.

I am an unattractive man, but I would love a convertible f-type just to hear that exhaust.

For the girls you can't bring home to mom (or shouldn't), this car will help you.

as for the dealership the one here sells all British made cars so AM,Bentely, Jags and LR. dealership is great.

Yes it does. My m3 gets mostly looks from males where the f-type draws even more females.

congrats and great review. haven't driven the car yet, but your review seems spot on with everything I've read, watched and expect.

long-time Jaguar and British car owner here. my family has had three Jags and seven Land Rovers in the past 20 years. reliability has come a long way, though their reputation is slower to improve. I have no doubts that the supercharged 5.0 will serve you well for many years to come. it's been reliable so far, and it's become so common with how many cars it's being used in, that I think replacement parts will be quite easy to come by way down the road.

I've been dying to drive the F type. definitely the best car Jag has made in many years, and I'm excited to see a car that's attracting enthusiasts back to the brand. the coupe V8S has my eyes on it - just a matter of whether I want to sacrifice the utility (and the $$).

Congrats OP. I have a friend of mine who has owned his F type v8s for at least 6 months now. I love the car. It has a ton of personalit and character. Lets not forget one of the biggest factors in buying a car of this nature is the sound. For a stock system, this is hands down probably one of the loudest cars I have ever heard (minus a pagani or something super exotic). And the coupe that will be coming out is even sexier. From the time I have spent driving my friends F type it is incredibly fast. My E90 M3 is no slouch with an ESS600 kit, Dinan x pipe and a 4.10 diff.

The F type is extremely fast and only in the upper RPM and high into triple digit speeds do I start reeling him in.

Great choice and enjoy. I know my friend has had zero issues with his F type since ownership last October.
