Reverie FIA halo seat, 10 pounds!

I should have this seat next week. It's going in a racecar but thought I'd post up what a legit 10.8 pound seat for tall/big guys, looks like. Put two of these in an M3 and drop an easy 100 pounds...yes, yes, I know the drawbacks.

wow.. haha that looks delectable. I hope it's not for enduro race though, I can't imagine sitting on that under high Gs for any longer than an hour even though I daily drive in a Recaro SPG..

Hell yeah, enduros up to two hours.

Can't be any worse than the 3 hours straight I spent in a lined but unpadded Kirkey at the last LeMons.

The two guys I spoke to who race this seat said it's surprisingly conformtable...if your the same shape as the seat. We'll see, Reverie sells a pad/cover kit, but it looks so cool in it's naked carbon badness.

Nice. Hard to say by just eyeballing, but it seems to have a shallow incline compared to say Recaro Pro Hans Racer?

I never noticed a big difference between the kirkey-style aluminum shell I had before I got a Sparco halo seat with lots of padding. You're strapped so tightly against the seat that the important thing is driving position and car setup (if the car is making you work your butt off you're going to be sore afterwards no matter how comfy the seat is).

$2500 shipped with aluminum Recaro sidemounts from Sector 111. Even with favorable exchange rates it's a pricy seat but comparable to Recaro and Sparco CF FIA seats.
