Luxury Tax

I was wondering when this tax gets applied. Is this done at the dealership when making the purchase? In other words, when I'm trying to make the OTD price, is this included?

luxury tax went away 5-10 years ago.

I guess you are referring to the gas guzzler tax? Isn't part of the MSRP? We don't apparently get charged for military sales.....
