Samsung Galaxy SII here and no issues connecting whatsoever. Same year car as you, as well.

Ah, this is very noteworthy. Perhaps it's the OS version that is the issue. I'll wait to see when they (Android/Samsung) offer an upgrade if that resolves the issue. But, for now the workaround does work.

Not long ago I usually feel that it is hard to feel asleep because of that someone always speak via mobile phones loudly and I can't fall sleep so then I get the phone jammer to help me and now everything has been solved. I can have good sleep until the other day morning now.
