also i saw a picture where the gts had a blue tip exhaust, does this exhaust tip turn blue after couple hot runs??

So I'm guessing this exhaust costs as much as an ess 535/575?

I don't get the whole excitement about the GTS exhaust.

There are many GTS drivers who actually hate it, because it doesn't sound as a car like this should sound. A friend of a friend bought this exhaust for his standard M3 and when he receive it, he thought it was a joke. He didn't even install it on the car and stick with his ceramic coated Akra Evo.

P.S. The GTS exhaust is indeed made from Boysen.

I love the no nonsense tips, but for me I always thought the GTS sounded quite similar to a M3 with an akra evo exhaust?

When I was at the ring last year the GTS was one of the best sounding cars I heard on the track. The system has to pass TUV so it is close to a Sport performance DB level. We will be running a Challenge Race X-pipe with the GTS rear.

I also think that it doesn't sound bad and actually it might be the best sounding stock BMW exhaust. I just expect more from a car which main purpose is to be driven on the track.
It will be interesting to hear your experience with pairing it with another x-pipe.

I think depending on which was cheaper between the Akra or GTS exhaust I would then choose.

I wonder how much it would cost to change a standard M3 into a GTS?
