Picture Request: E92 Exhaust on E90 Tips Fitment
Hey Guys,
Can you post your pictures of the rear of your E90 M3 that has an E92 exhaust? I am curious to see what the extra tip length of the E92 looks like on the E90. I know that some of the pictures on the forum are probably E90s with an E92 exhaust but I don't want to assume if its not stated because folks can adjust tips on aftermarket exhausts. I am most curious about how the M Performance Exhaust looks. Let's see what folks have! |

I have an ACM E92 exhaust on my E90 M3...doesn't look good at all. I'm just waiting for my EAS sedan tips to come in.
I'm embarassed to even share a pic.

This is a E90 IPE F1 system on my E92, with challenge diffusor. As you can see the tips are just barely noticeable, which to me, is superior than tips sticking out, but to each their own... |

An embarrassing level of poke for sure. Had a Megan exhaust for an E92 on my E90 for about a week before I couldn't take the tips or the drone any longer. Turrible.
If you've got an aftermarket diffuser, the tips may not be as bad.

I agree, subtle and nice. As long as you're not melting the fascia, it's all good...

Yes I agree, you have to play around with the height, which is one factor that you can control, to avoid contact between tips and diffusor or bumper. In my situation we added few spacers, which lowered the tips few millimeters to clear my bulkier diffusor...
