TIRES!
Have been through 3.5 sets of PS2's and tried the SuperSports now. I didn't like them as well as the PS2's, which was a surprise. Now, the SS's are worn out in the back after 1 season. There must be a better tire for the M3 out there that will last at least 2 seasons and have sticky, good grip.
Suggestions please! |

I don't have any objective evidence but I had PS2s and they lasted quite long. I switched to PSS's which have rave reviews and they seem to be wearing MUCH faster. Both were good from a performance standpoint.

For normal driving, I use, and recommend, the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Quiet, long lasting, soft, relatively inexpensive, it's been a good tire for me. I used to be on Michelins.

I have yokohama ad08. The tread wear isn't great but they lasted me for some time. The grip and overall performance of the tire is amazing

I fell for the rave reviews on the SS and quickly found that the PS2's were superior IMO.

But an all-season tire has no place on an M3 IMHO.

I drive spirited and have 10k miles on my PS2's and they're only about half done in the rear.

Michelin has a tire wear warranty. For staggered setups like ours, it is 30k for the front and 15k miles for the rear.

I don't think there's a better tire for wear and performance than the PSS. You can get more wear or better performance than PSS, but not both.
