My New Vorsteiner Ti Exhaust vids

After many months of going back & forth on what exhaust I should get I finally got myself off my arse & made the leap of faith & purchased the Vorsteiner Ti Exhuast from Nate @ IND & I couldn't be happier
:cla p:

I still have only done about 300miles so I'm still breaking it in, but what I'm hearing so far I absolutely love it, I feel that at cruising speeds & around town it is slightly louder then Stock but under WOT sounds AMAZING, perfect for a daily driver as well as a weekender....

I just got a Vio Pov camera and I did some test videos yesterday while running some errands & commuting to work...the test vids came out very good IMHO so I hope they do this exhaust some justice b/c its a beauty & sounds amazing, plus the Ti tips match perfectly w/ IB

Installation of the exhuast was really simple I helped out the shop do the install, if you have a lift you could easily do it yourself w/ no problems all you need is an extra set of hands & the proper tools, total installation time of the exhaust was a little over a hour b/c the guy installing was taking his sweet time...

Just want to say thanks to Nate & everyone else at IND for their great customer service & for hooking me up when I need my mod fix

Enjoy

Cold Start small revs

Cruising around town, then jump on highway

Cruising on highway

more vids & pics coming soon, just really busy & going away next week so I wanted to make sure I got these up b4 I'm gone for a week & I put it off longer

I've had the exhaust for about a month now, and I couldn't agree more. If you push it, the sound is amazing, but its not so ridiculously loud that it becomes annoying. It's got the perfect balance.

My buddy's driven next to me when I get on the throttle and said it sounds amazing. It's got a different sound from outside the car of course, but I don't think I'm gonna let anyone else drive my ride anytime soon to let me hear it

Hey Monsta, I've got one, too! It's sitting in my office. I'll put it on this weekend.

Looking at the connections, it seems like you just need to loosen and tighten some clamps for the install. Is there anything else? I'll have a friend help. We will drive the car on a ramp and do the install that way. Any suggestions?

Thanks, and enjoy the exhaust!

Nope no suggestions b/c its really straight forward to install, the rubber mounts give a little trouble but just give them a little bend, slide the exhaust as far as possible to one side (left) then slide over (right) to the other for the other mount then center then exhaust...remember the short tip goes on the outside & obviously the longer on the inner, make sure to torque down the connecting pipes to prevent leakage....when I get back from my trip I want to lift the car & slide under to check for any signs of exhaust leakage, if it hasn't leaked yet from the install then it won't...

Sounds fantastic bill!! I love how it is subtle when you are cruising and opens up on full throttle.
BTW, what recorder are you using? Go-Pro? I love the wide-screen fish eye look to it.

Anderson did you get to hear it on Sunday other then revving it in the parking lot? You really don't get to appreciate it unless your driving beside or behind....I'm using a Vio-POV www.vio-pov.com not cheap by any means but its serves my uses the best & videos are much better quality IMO, I just upgraded the firmwire to be able to use a 8gb card, going to test it out tonight...

I weighed the tips. You can save another 2lbs at the track if you leave them behind.

If you are referring to the temp variation, not so sure about that. Think about the delta T the exhaust experiences due to normal engine operation say in CA (I don't know what it goes through from cold start up to warm operation but I bet it is 100C+ although it would be good to know, so maybe I'll measure this). Is the extra 20C variation due to NE weather significant compared to that?

I think the Xpipe would be too loud for me maybe if someone sells theirs cheap I'll pick one up & test it out, but from what I heard from your vid it gets insanely loud but I need to hear it IRL to really get a feel-Hey you never know!

To me its Legendary already....

Lucid your sick!! You remind me of back in H.S. when the wrestlers were trying to make weight for their match, just that your doing it with the M & trying to keep it off

I think we'll be fine....that Ti debate has gone on for way too long but it mostly all attributes to poorly made exhausts like the meisterschaft exhaust & race Ti exhausts that operate at very very high temps for prolong periods of time...
