Placed my order

After many many years of dreaming of this car in my garage, I was able to pull the trigger and get it. I went through my local dealer and received a competitive quote to what Francesca offered me at Steve Thomas BMW, but most importantly they had an allocation spot for me.

Here are my build details:

Le Mans Blue Metallic
Black Novello Extended
Carbon Leather Trim
6 Speed Manual
Competition Package
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Automatic High Beams
BMW Apps
Enhanced Premium Sound
Rear Spoiler Deletion (I plan on adding the Carbon Fiber)
No Moonroof

I am trying to contain my excitement because 90 days is a long time away, but this is my dream car so it's a bit challenging.

Yeah I really wanted to go with them but I was 5th on the wait list for an allocation spot, when they only received 3 last month. My dealer gave it to me for basically the same price as what STBMW would have given it to me for by the time I paid to get it shipped out to west Texas.

i've been on here for a couple months now and my knowledge about the E92 has increased 10 fold....so, yeah, it's a great resource for information and you have a lot of helpful members to boot!

Yeah same here on the knowledge part, and I'm still learning hour I spend on here. They told me 90 days, I don't really know what to expect past that...my salesman wasn't super knowledgeable about this, but he did claim to keep me in the loop during the build.

Thanks man, I don't see a whole lot of m3's in my town and have yet to see a le mans blue, so I'm looking forward to it.

LeMans Blue rocks, congrats! I know the feeling of waiting, just plain torture.

However, you can curb the torture by researching and buying mods!

Haha yeah I've already got a list of things I want to do. I'm really thankful BMW offers us a lot of the same stuff the EU gets.

Congrats my friend and thank you again for giving us a shot at your business. It was a bummer we didn't have enough allocations to take care of you but we are glad in the end you were able to get a M before its to late!

In the future hopefully we can get you set up, in the meantime congrats again on the car and make sure to post up some pics when you get it!! you are going to love this car its awesome

Sweet Build. I have a similar build, it took a full month from time the order was accepted on April 3, 2013 until May 3, 2013 to get the car build. Others have done it in about 3 weeks

Congrats!!! Looks like you have a nice build. I would make one small recommendation. I would delete your cold weather package option and just opt for the heated seats as a separate one off option and buy a ski bay at Dicks. I personally do not care for the look of the headlight washers in front of the lights. It's not aesthetically pleasing. But if you need/like them then by all means go for it. When I purchased my car I had originally opted for the cold weather package and then deleted it on the advice of my SA who showed me photos. I'm just throwing it out there for you to consider and am in no way being critical.

Best of luck. Don't forget to add some pics when it finally arrives.
