M3 GTS Suspension

Assuming we can get the GTS suspension do you think it'll be better than other brands?

I like how the GTS sits.

The GTS does not have EDC. It is a fully adjutable coilver system by Sachs.

Our cars are also 350-400 lbs heavier than the GTS so the spring rates & shock valving would need to be changed to be optimum.

I don't understand why the regular M3 didn't get a coil-over system as standard.

Even if it was a non-adjustable system, it would be better than any strut based system and probably not cost much (if any) more. Would improved the M's handling, which is supposed to be their flagship performance car.

Wouldn't your suggestion be the same thing as the stock system? A shock with fixed length springs and position is sorta what's already on there, no? Even the coilover systems, except for the highest end race setups, still have the rear spring not inline with the shock.

The suspension is made by Sachs, not KW.

Is Sachs a better choice than KW for replacing suspension?

Not sure which is better but Sachs has a long standing relationship OEM supplier relationship with BMW so it would make sense for BMW to choose Sachs than say KW.
