M-DCT 1st to 2nd

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this with their M-DCT in manual:

Cruising at a slow roll in 1st gear and jump on the gas. My shift to 2nd at the redline feels sluggish, almost like I hit the limiter (which I know I didnt). If I do it again and shift about 500rpms below the redline, it shifts much harder.

Any idea?

Never happened to me .. Only plausible reason could be your redlining it and hitting fuel cutoff (which you say you aren't), so I'm not sure.... When it's in D does it do it?

theres this button next to the shifter in the center consold that looks like cell phone reception bars...i think if u have it on 1 bar, it shifts slow and if u have it on full bars, it shifts faster...at least when i test drove it, i tried 1 bar and max bars and noticed the difference. have u tried that button?

Sounds like the tach can't keep up with the engine in 1st gear. Not uncommon at all.

That's what it feels like!

However, it doesnt happen from a dead stop though. Only when I hit it from a slow roll. Very strange.
