Tire dressing please read!

I will save all of you money and time. I just got done waxing my E93 and applying a new tire dressing that i bought for my BMW wine tour trip. The product is called Titanium wet gel form Black magic. It comes with clear gel that you apply to a little sponge that is provided. I followed the directions and placed the product on the tires, not applying to much, because I did not want it to fly off the wheel. I let it dry overnight and took off on the road trip. To my amazment when I got to my first stop I noticed black spots like grease all over the car. I thought I ran over a oil rig I was pissed and imbarrased. Thank god I brought a microfiber cloth and Meguiers quick detailer spray for emergencys. It took some force to get the black goo off, but I got it all, and when I got home I had to get it off of my rims and the wheel wells. Never buy this piece of shit product, I should make Black Magic pay for my detail work. I have used Black magic spray tire dressing with no problems. I guess the gel was to good to be true. I love to take care of my fellow BMW brothers.

You probably put too much on. Shiny black tires look stupid anyway. They should be a satin black.

EDIT...fixed my spelling error.

I love Zainos tire shine. This stuff dries very quickly and is specifically made not to sling off. One coat has a matte sheen, and you can apply multiple coats if you want more shine. It also smells like pink bubble gum .

this happens with MOST super shiny tire dressings...i havent applied tire shine for about 2 weeks now. as long as my rubber isnt brown I dont do it because it makes the rims and car so dirty within 5 minutes of driving. (EVEN if you let it dry)

The stuff you can buy at the dealer, although very expensive, is one of the best tire dressing products that I have ever used. I was very impressed, especially considering it was a "BMW" car care product.
