well, you cant really compare the tck SA to the ohlins RT, the dampers are far outclassed. the DA kit is a better comparison

the biggest difference between these kit is dampers. the DFV tech in the ohlins kits seems to be universally praised, so I would have to say that the DFV dampers in the ohlins kit would make me like that kit better.

a couple key differences. the TCK kit requires you to use camber plates, whereas the ohlins allows you to run with the stock strut mounts.

the ohlins kit, if you get camber plates, will also be a little more expensive than TCK

for street and track use, seems you cant go wrong with ohlins, but im sure tck DA would be great too

Sorry, i mean TCK DA. I should have make it clearly.
I see the points now. Would like hear people who had experiences or information base on similar mods and similar driving skill on different about both kits on track.

I think the TCK is easy. Vs other systems which need some amount of trial to get close to optimum at this point. Of course as time passes there will be more data points and there will be a consensus on the setup.

Are there other potentially faster and better coilovers available. Yes. But...what will it take to get there?

Bear in mind that the TCKs are still a very capable and use a very good Koni strut.

Yeah but why would you drop $3k on coilovers and NOT get camber plates?

One other thing that's a huge advantage of the TCK/Koni SA and DA setups is they do not need to be serviced/rebuilt after ~25k of street use like the Ohlins R&T/DFV, even fewer miles before required servicing if used on street and track.

Not saying you should, just pointing out that it is a difference between the two

Personally, if I went with tck, id go with a different brand of plates like gc or vorshlag.

I'd just get the TCK plates. Vorshlag seems to always be out of the TCK specific perches.

No, only on my E46. I think it is the best all around coilover out there for the E46. There are faster setups but none as comfortable, low maintenance, and easy to set up.
