How do i fit BMW wheels (HRE) on a Mercedes?
Hi,
I have a set of 20" alloys that I have fitted to my M3, I'm about to sell the car but would like to keep the wheels to fit to the car I intend to buy. I understand that you can get bolts that convert the wheel bolt pattern from one manufacturer to another, do you know of a bold that would convert a BMW wheel (HRE P40 20") to a Mercedes C-class? (C63) Kind regards* Tom* *

The bolt isn't what does this. It is a thick spacer that allows for the BMW and Mercedes bolt pattern to be drilled into it at the same time.
So you basically bolt the spacer onto the car, and then the wheel bolts directly into the spacer (10 lugs/bolts total). I'm not certain if they have BMW to Mercedes adapters available, but it's most likely no use, as those adapters are easily 20-25mm thick. That extra spacer thickness in addition to the different offsets of your Mercedes will result in the wheels not being able to fit. Sorry |

we do have adapter that will allow 5-120 bolt pattern wheels to be fit on the 5-112 bolt pattern wheels.
However, these adapters are 20mm thick. The C63 usually has 40+ offset and the M3 has about 20+ offset. Therefore, it is virtually impossible to fit the M3 wheels on the C63, even if the bolt pattern issue was taken care of.
