2013 M3 In Miami, Anyone know this car for sale

Saw this online at CarMax:

http://www.carmax.com/enus/view-car/...results%20page

DCT/Tech, speedcloth over manual seats...ZCP, might be interested, but doubt I would get more than 40k on my 11 E93 with 36k miles.

Don't know how Florida's laws work, but in Illinois he would only pay sales tax on the difference between the trade and the new car.

If they give him $40k and the car is $65k, he only pays taxes on $25k. If you assume 7.5% tax, he would pay $1875 in taxes versus $4875 -- that IMMEDIATELY negates the extra money he would get from selling it privately.

Just something to think about.

As to OP's question, it's an unusual package. CarMax does buy things at auction. Not everything they sell was a trade. Their assessors tend to undervalue the M3s and miss that they have certain desirable options/packages, IMO. My E90 actually came from CarMax.

My best guess would be high 40s at best for 11 e93 like this.

In Florida we do get credit for the trade, and sales tax is 6%.

Is the sales price a good deal? I would consider if I could get 43k

Black leather/speed cloth? That is a very desirable combination.

CarMax's pricing is pretty good, but obviously you cannot negotiate it at all.

Garage List
I bought my '11 from Carmax in Fort Lauderdale in September. The deal was pretty smooth overall.
