Lol...WTF! I might have to be careful at Texas World Speedway...there's a bunch of trees on the back stretch. I have never really considered a deer might run out into the track.

If you look carefully - he lets go of the steering wheel completely before the impact and doesn't move his left hand back to the wheel until 0:24. You can see him re-grasp it.

There are FAR worse things than safety glass through the eyeport. Not to mention the cars beside you and behind you that don't expect you to take your hands off the wheel and become a car on a random heading.
