R8 V10 Plus VS 991.2 GT3

if you could have one but only for daily driving, normal duty only what will you choose? Both are N/A and high revving

Probably the Porsche, although the reason I got rid of my last Porsche 911 was because you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. That said there's a reason of that.

I had assumed Porsche is similar to BMW or MB but it seems to be a small company with limited abilities in terms of production, quality control and maintenance. Between 991 GT3s and GT4:
- GT3 engines failing (like S65 but much higher incidence)
- transmissions failing (GT4) with replacements delayed and no better than the original
- strut tower punching through the frame after running over potholes!! - totaled or insurance premiums take a hit

Don't know if the R8 has such issues.

.2 Gt3. #1 on dealer's list (may not mean much though)

R8 is very capable and definitely more of a showy, date night kind of car. It also has AWD if you plan to drive in cold weather.

However, I think the GT3 will be more fun to get into every morning.

I could flip a coin between this two and be very happy with the outcome.

But if I were spending my coin, I'd probably do a GT3 w/ a stick.

R8 is more suited for daily, that's what it's for. The GT3 is a track car
