Trouble with non-approved bluetooth?
I have a Motorola razor with AT&T. CA paired it when I took delivery. 2 weeks later, an SA told me it's not on the approved list and it could cause the idrive to crash. The razor from Verizon is on the approved list, but not the one from AT&T. It worked fine for 2 weeks. Is there really going to be that much difference between identical phones from different providers. If it worked for 2 weeks without problem, would you keep on using it? I really don't want to get another phone if I don't have to. Anybody have an opinion or experience with this?

I can't hurt the iDrive at all.... don't worry about it. Should some protocol wierdness freeze the iDrive, I am sure it can easily be reset by turning the car off or at the dealer... just keep on using it.
