FS/FT Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust
Looking to either trade or sell AA Signature Exhaust. It is in excellent condition, but is just a little too aggressive. Would be willing to trade +$$ for BMW Performance Exhaust, or looking to sell for near what I paid for it just a couple of weeks ago from another forum member. Looking to get $1750 +/- depending on shipping or pick up (I'm in SoCal). It comes with heat shields installed on it as well. No stories, it's perfect. Just a little bit too aggressive. UPDATED; here's the link to the exhaust for pictures, etc. from when I originally purchased it... UPDATED; $1600 picked up... NW Los Angeles area... http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ght=aa+exhaust Last edited by Jdubya; 07-15-2011 at 12:24 PM.. Reason: add pics |

From what I've been told, an aftermarket X pipe may help with some of the low end aggressiveness but I only want to do bolt on if possible at this point.

I have the AA on my e90 and love the "aggressive" sound. I get tons of complements on the way it sounds, even my gf likes it. It is pretty loud in the low RPMs and once it gets above 2500-3000k it quiets down and really screams when you get on it. I could see how people think it might be a little too loud, but I love it and have no complaints. Someone needs to pick this up!! GLWS

It's not terrible, it's just that in a convertible with the top down, it can get too much for some. For others, this is the sound they want (the aggressive v8 sound so the world can hear you coming) When reving and going WOT, this exhaust sounds beautiful The tips are also sexy

Thanks, the exhaust is actually sweet sounding, I really like it, and am actually getting used to it now. Wife just isn't really an exhaust gal, and she was happier with it stock and is giving me a hard time on it.
I think everyone's characterization of the exhaust is spot on. if you're looking for an exhaust that sounds exotic, and gives you the V8 growl, this is it. It reminds me of my SL55 exhaust quite a bit, if you've heard one of those cars. As Persian54 says, the exhaust is also really nice looking. The tips are adjustable, so it fits all models, and you can adjust them in or out to your preference. It's a nice setup for someone who is looking for exhaust. My wife just wasn't... |
