Side note... For all the other extensive modifications, looks like they kept the stock airbox. Potentially another affirmation of the stock setup.

Sure. I bet those things will just sit in dealers lots forever in this economy. I bet you could even talk them into throwing in an extended warranty and 19" wheels. But, spend the extra money and get a 335 and mod it. Everyone knows it'll be faster.

That thing is very cool. A little expensive, but you have to pay to play.

I wonder who would actually drop such a $ for this car? Damn, i build and sell new homes for a living and if i had $310,000 and was given a choice to either buy that car or build a house, i would build a sick ass luxury house sell it for 1 to 2 million dollars buy a damn Ferrari Enzo and go crazy. They need to re-calculate the price tag.

a little expensive? it's a BMW 3 series. For another $40k you could have a Carrera GT.

With a McLaren F1, Roller Phantom, F430 Scudy & 599, F40 & FXX too.
So it depend which customer market they're going for. I think its for the oligarch crowd.

To be perfectly honest this is how all M3s should look and would stop people from saying that the RS4 is a much better and aggressive looking car which it is. I have always wondered why BMW keep the look of all their M model so tame in comparison.

BMW take note to try hard next time.

+1, I would rather spend another $30k more on a CSL M3 if they brought one out. At $310k there are plenty of other cars one would buy before that!
