Sorry about your crash but yeh it is the wrong forum. Its for M3 thats in the (E90/E92/and E93) models.

no not yet, as i said the damage looks worst than it actually is. i guess ill see what its like when i drive it again, been re-assured by bmw it is fine... like your e92, can you tell me does the head lights automatically come on, seen lots of e92 around and always got head lamps on????

e92 BMW's are equiped with day-time running lights. But they are in the form of the headlights halos.

e46 day time running lights use the high beams on a lower setting (assuming you have xenon headlights).

If you are inquiring about daylight sensing headlights, I think only 2004 e46 models and later got that option. My 2001 e46 330ci does not have daylight sensing headlights, I have to manually turn them on and off (which I actually like doing).

Hey man i know how u feel, My car crashed 2 months ago but cos of the lazy git at BMW here in Bahrain they only started working on my car a week back, but its gona look amazing when its done. My crash wasnt as bad as yours though....Good luck.
