Really?I used RS19's with stock brakes on my 08 and never went though any rotors after 55000 kms & at least 30 track days. With my Stoptech BBK and Pagid RS14/29 setup I am seeing very little rotor wear as well even on the street.

I've got a dozen events on the stock calipers/rotors running RS19 Yellows all around. No excessive rotor wear, pads work great!

I was under the impression that the Pagids were fairly rotor-friendly when used on the track with a lot of heat, but that driving them around town mostly cold would really chew up the rotors.

I've had both the RS19s on stock calipers and the RS29s on StopTech BBK without problems but i change them out for track events, so who knows...

On the street, they were super noisy, and was never able to get them to quiet down. On the track, it would take a few hot laps before the squealing went down.

I'm putting RS29 on my Alcon BBK next week, and i'm hoping the noise goes down - it seems that most people with a BBK and the Pagids experience less noise.
Ran the RS29's last year and will run them this year as well. Really liked them. They did squeal on the street but were more high pitched but not super loud IMO. Did go through a set of rotors last year (22 track days about 5k street miles), but thought the pagids were friendlier than the carbotechs on the rotors which were the 2 pads I used last year. Will pay closer attention to these details this year.

I just threw in my set of RS29. I'm shocked to say they're almost completely silent! I drove on them pretty much all day today in downtown traffic and 15C weather, and they didn't make a noise. Looking at how they fit in the caliper, it seems like these pads fit more snug than the pads in the OEM calipers, and so there is probably less pad vibration.

Can't wait to give these a go on the track this Sunday!

Richard, how do they compare to the StopTech pads you seem to like? I believe the ST pads are more of a street pad, but can be used on the track.

The RS19's and RS29's seem to be quiet when they're in a multi-piston caliper. I had them in my Brembo's last year and they were quiet. In the OEM single piston calipers though, you get noise.

That's exactly what I have observed. I have been daily driving my RS29s for a week now, completely silent.

Mine started silent but got louder as the track days piled up. Not sure if it's because they need constant re-bedding or what, but they did get louder after about a month. Putting em back in 2 weeks so will see. Summer here we come!!!

I think anytime you run a track pad, re-bedding them every now and then is a good choice if you leave them in.

I find the initial bite sometimes a bit much in stop and go traffic.

I've just had mine on for three weeks and they started out silent then got loud and now are better again. I do think they need to be bedded in periodically. I've had two track events so far and the wear is much less than on my Mintex F3Rs.

Great pad! Fantastic bite and fully operational after nearly forty minutes of 130+mph to 55-60mph brake zones. My pads are nearly completely white but with plenty of meat left. Very impressed. Of course moving to a BBK helped as well.

Are you using the RS29 with stock calipers and discs? I'm still interested in upgraded pads if I can find something that won't be too noisy for street driving...

Pagids are good, raced on them for three seasons, but run PFC01/06 now on my racecar. Pagids give a softer, longer pedal and prone to slight fading after 50% of pad life. I never raced on pads with less than 50% wear left. PFC will bite and be consistent nearly to the backing plate. This is racing, with enduros, may not be an issue with DE or TT.

As STALKER mentioned, i'm running the RS29 in my Alcon BBK.

I have a set of Pagid RS19 for the OEM calipers (i've actually got them on sale here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=593721), they are amazing on the track, but they squeal like crazy.

I've been running them on the streets the past 2 days. They are really loud.

i thought that low wear rates of the pad just meant high rotor wear and vs versa. one or the other has to suffer doesnt it?

They last a long time and are easy on rotors, they are enduro pads.

What are the differences between the RS19 and RS29? I've read a little bit, and it seems that the RS29 have a slightly higher initial bite.
