Thumbs up Thumps Up to Bimmersport

Hey Guys - just wanted to give Bimmersport Automotive a

Had my AA exhaust installed this morning and was in and out in no time. They have also done a few other things to my car in past as well!

Anyone looking to do anything to their car should definitely give them a shout! I more than likely will be doing a few more things in spring!

Glad you finally got the exhaust Jay. How does it sound so far? Can you feel any difference?
Next time we have a get together we should try to make our cars play the tune from Top Gear by varying our RPM.

Sounds great! First thoughts are at idle, its definitely has a deeper louder sound. Sound with the throttle down is great! Under normal driving conditions city/hiway doesnt sound much different in the cabin, other than starting to roll from a light or stop sign etc. As far as feeling a difference, I would say it seems more responsive, but maybe thats what I want to feel?

I will say this - shouldnt have waited so long to pull the trigger on this! Very happy with it so far - I will see if anything changes after its broken in. I also havent had a chance to do any spirited driving with it yet. Need to go back to Calabogie to hear it on the front straight!

Glad to hear you got it installed finally. So you don't think the exhaust is too loud Jay? I figured it would be quieter in an E90 anyways, it seemed loud in my E93 when i first got it, but now im totally used to it.

Roll with the windows down, and you'll love the sound of the backfire "pop" when you let off the gas at around 3-4K rpms

Think you'll go x-pipe next year?

Where do you think I got the idea for a new exhaust?

Havent driven it too much but I love it. Its definitely is louder at idle and under 2000rpm has that deep boomy tone to it. But as for driving doesnt seem too much difference. No drone at cruising speeds which is important to me. I could see how it would be loud in the E93, glad you got used to it!
Looking forward to the warmer weather this weekend so I can roll with the windows down and listen to it (need to break it in a bit too!)

Not certain on the x-pipe - I think I would like too, but may be too loud - work has me on the handsfree often - wish I could test fit one and try it for a week or two. You going to get one?

Thats what I would love to do also, I need to see how loud and how good it would sound. Im scared to touch my exhaust setup, because I think my favorite part of my entire car is the sound the Eisenmann makes right now.

Darksied's used x-pipe is mighty tempting but i think its too much for the e93, plus I dont have the software and probably wont be getting it, so I don't want CEL hassles..

Probably won't be as bad as you guys think (with an AA muffler). I think the car sounds perfect with the x-pipe, easy to drive/cruise with - minor cabin sound at 3k+ rpm.. a few turns of the sound and you can't hear it which is impressive. But the backfire is cool - I love that sound when going through a tunnel! As well, the fumes is not an issue.. a bit at start up when reversing but afterwards, it's fine.. the drivers behind might not share the same opinion though

Slammed - I have a feeling the straight pipe w/ your ER *may* be a bit too loud but that word's relative.

If you guys want to hear it - let me know!

My ECU is at their shop as we speak for a flash to AA V1.5 and Jonny has been very, very kind to me.

I'm just sad that I live in BC and can't take advantage of the shop!
