VS Motorsports: Review of Macht Schnell Tow Strap

Recently, we purchased the new Macht Schnell Tow Strap for a customer. We were told that this may not work on the customers car because of the threading on the bolt (We were told that 08 and 09+ have different thread patterns) The customer gave us the thumbs up to order it and give it a shot.

Overall, we are very happy with the product, looks very similar to the BMW tow strap we use on our E92 Race car. There are two different option in color: Black and Red.

Our customer had us order one in red and below are some pictures of the unit and how it looks after the install.

Hopefully you'll never have to use it.

I've used my OEM tow hook as I took the tow of shame off of the track through the paddock in my E46.

Yes it does, look like Macht Schnell took care of it and works for all year E9x M3s. If you are interested in them please let us know

For a nice clean look when you're not on the track and want to keep it there... Cut a slit into the OEM tow hook cover and have a small quarter or half inch stick out. Looks real good IMO.

They are $95 on their website. Isn't that price a little excessive for a strap of cloth?

Not to nitpick, but shouldn't a "review" talk about how the part performs? Where are the tow videos?
