I had a car come in on a boat to Oxnard on the Triton Leader 5/27/10 and it got to my socal dealership late night on the 30th. Thats pretty damn fast through VDC even as a priority 1 car. I did not take delivery and am now waiting for my new car (changed from a 335i to a 335is) to get through VDC since it came in last Friday 6/11/10 on The Alioth Leader. As long as it gets there before Saturday I'm happy. Been driving around in one of my parents' SUVs for a bit and it is killing me. I need to be in a small car asap!

BTW, I am on Alioth Leader and it actually came in on the 9th :-)....However, I just checked status on my car and it still does not appear to clear customs......

I guess we caught the same taxi over here. What's your source that said the 9th? I'm just waiting for the call any day now to pick her up....Never been so anxious to receive anything before. I literally have dreams almost every night of driving it.

Same over here..... See below link for arrivals schedule for Port Hueneme. Take a look at June 9th..... I later confirmed that it indeed arrived at the port on June 9th

Well post up if you find out anything else! For some reason I was told that it docked June 11th by my dealer and I believe the Port told me the same. Who knows....Just a difference of two days. I just want the thing in my hands by this weekend.

I've got 2 friends with M3's via ED that came in on May 27th to Port Hueneme and as of today their cars still have not cleared customs...

ETA on BMW / Hams website is probably what you CA is telling you. The chances of you getting your car by this weekend is almost slim to nothing with all customs delays... Keep us posted though as you should be one of the 1st people to get a car from this boat due to your location.

Just got the call. My car is already at the dealership and I'm picking it up tomorrow. This is the second time in a row I was able to get a car from port to dealer in under 5 days through VDC @ Hueneme. Neither car were ED cars though. In fact I had the dealer do a swap with another dealer after I located the car already in transit. I'm sure you guys will get your cars pretty soon also being that we all have Priority 1 status.

My non-ED car made it through the NJ customs and VPC in 4 days.

I was thinking about this....

BMW indicates that W. Coast cars will be redelivered 8-10 weeks after drop off.

So for both your friends clock does not even start ticking until June 27th - July 11th time frame.

For me June 29th will be 8 weeks........

I guess, just bec the boat is here doesn't mean we will be getting our cars right away..... I am trying to be patient

I was told 8-10 weeks after ED drop of in Munich...I dropped mine of May 7th...and my boat just docked in LA today

No idea about the delays at the VPC, the dealer says they are still in customs. They dropped them 9 weeks ago in Munich so technically 1 more week before it gets to the dealer is still on time.
