I agree, the fake exhaust tips bother me as well, but all the guys drivin 911's think that the M3's side vents and hood buldge are lame since they are only for asthetic purposes.......

Honestly, the fake exhaust tips aren't that big of a deal. I admire the fact that Lexus was creative, and the stacked exhaust tips look good in person.
I know Lexus didn't get it all perfect the first time, but they'll come back hard with their next version I bet. |

G37S and 550i over the F? Are you kidding me? 335i with jb3 I can see an argument for, although some might say it's better to have the N/A of the F versus a twin turbo set up + additional tuning G37S does not belong in that discussion to be honest, it's disgustingly slower than the F The F is probably tied for 4th on that list with the 335i. edit: and g37s over 335i, really??? |

Ferrari California exhaust tips.
Just like the IS-F's exhaust tips, and this one is a real sports car. It's just funny how people got on the IS-F but never said anything about the Murcielago, R8, Veyron, California, and the new BMW 750. Are all those cars going to be called "Rice", i think not.

Hey guys. I had to register just to respond to this thread. I am most likely one of the first 10 owners of the 2G IS 350 in the country, and have 80,000 miles on mine. I think it's ludicrous for anyone to say that it's not a fantastic car.
Apples to apples, I think the ISF is also a fantastic car. When I drove it, however, I didn't feel like it had that much more than my IS 350. I stopped by and test drove an M3 yesterday as I continue my search for a new car, and ended up walking out with one. It is very clear that the M3 is an amazing car, but that doesn't take away from what Lexus has done. There are several things missing in the M3 that Lexus has. There are also several things the M3 does that Lexus can't do. The bottom line is that they're both fantastic cars and you really can't go wrong with either. Now, please excuse me while I go and look for the backup camera on my new M3. |

I was very interested in the IS-F....until I drove it. The ride is too horrible to believe. It is the worst riding car I've ever driven. I think they forgot to put shocks and springs in the suspension - it is that harsh. The M3, particularly with adjustable suspension, manages better handling with a compliant ride. There were other things I like better about the M3 and some I like better about the Lexus but there is no way I could live on a daily basis with the IS-F ride quality.

So does the IS-F. The Autospies photo is a prototype, the actual production car tailpipes goes in the tip just like the other cars that i mentioned.
