Price increase already on a 2008?

A BMW dealership in Fort Worth (Autobahn Motorcars) told me that the price has already increased on even 2008 M3s if you place an order for them now. He said that the 2009 M3s would be about $1500 more than the 2008s. I am not sure how much the price is increasing on the new order 2008 M3s. Does anyone know? Can anyone confirm the price increase on the 2008 and the $1500 increase on the 2009?

My car just went into production yesterday. Dealer sent me my MSRP and options sheet. Don't see any increase on there.

Not true. There was recently a price increase that specifically stated that '08 are not going up except for small increases in metallic paint and the premium package. It may be that they don't have any '08 allocations left, but unless it came out recently, pricing for '09's hasn't been released.

Here's a link to the sticky at the top of this section... http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139763

If you didn't have a confirmed order in by 5/9, then a new order you place would be impacted by the increases to destination and the options listed.

I can live with the $175 increase for metallic paint and premium package. I was just being told by the dealer that pricing on the car (at least for 2009) would increase by $1500 because of the strength of the dollar vs. euro.

I just spoke with BMW Customer Relations. They told me that there is no price increase for 2008 models by BMW. If they dealer decides to discount or increase price, that is their perogative. They also told me that 2009 models may have a price increase, but it is unknown at this time.
