Hate to break it to you guys but don't get too excited (especially those who did ED). We are tracking cars off of Alioth Leader who docked on June 9th and our cars are nowhere to be seen. They are yet to clear customs. They are experiencing huge delays.....

Can we get reimbursed by BMW NA for later than usual delivery? As far as making out lease payment and not getting our cars for another month?

Ship docked at Port Hueneme on June 9th....

In theory ED cars should get priority over others but does not seem to be the case for whatever reason.

The boat is just off the coast of Mexico headed North. Approximately 450 nautical miles from port Hueneme (rough approximation).

as of right now it seems 50 miles away or so...

My SA confirmed ship will be in LA tomorrow sometime...he seems to think up to two weeks at port for customs and VDC tho...

Early or not by 1 day doesn't really matter. We all know that it's just the beginning of uncertainties @ customs and VDC.

my sa told me he hopes monday the 28th i shouldd be able to pick it up..

its a good thing the dealer is like 10 miles away from the port

but anywho i really wouldnt be suprised if it takes a little longer, i guess only time will tell.

If it's not too much trouble would someone mind posting when their car gets released from the VPC? I'm trying to get an idea of how long the process is taking these days as my car is due in on the next ship (MORNING CEDAR). Since my dealer is a 2 hour drive from me I need to plan the pickup well in advance so as to avoid the car sitting there for several days.

I remember back in the height of the market my E60 took 5 days from the time the boat landed to the time it arrived at my dealer. I'm hoping that now with fewer Priority 1 cars on board the process is a little faster.
