Not too long?
Anyone know how much longer I will have to wait? My build week was 5-11 SEP 2010. This image is current as of 17 SEP. Now I see what all the fuss about waiting is!

I seriously don't know how you guys do this? Order an M3 and wait for it!! I'd have had a nervous breakdown, major depression, anxiety and paranoia. I admire your willpower though and wish I could have done the same cause I miss some options in M3 that I could have ordered. They are minor though. I test drove my M3 and next morning I was at the dealer buying it. Hold on man, you'll be driving it soon.

Some of us don't have a choice. If there were walk-in dealerships in Afghanistan, I would have done just like you. I want to plan my travel arrangements accordingly so I don't cut my leave short for a car that has not arrived yet.

None of the dealer's ever have any in stock. If I'm gonna get an 80k car I want every option I want in my car. BTW the wait sucks especially if ordering near the Aug shutdown.
Your car will be here soon, I would guess early to mid October. |

Have you called the 800 number and talk to the operator to see if they released the car to a vessel yet?
If so then you can track the ship and see where it is. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43692 I never trusted that owners circle thing, it was always wrong for me. If its already on a boat then i say early October you should get it if you are on the east coast. Then again im assuming you waiting for it in the U.S?

Believe it or not, the dealership by me, actually has 4-5 in stock.
All of them are alpine white ... and all of them are automatic. Don't ask, I have no clue as to why. So whether or not they actually have any in stock is just based on location and popularity I guess. |
