OP never replied to your post. If car was indeed involved in an accident, the ethical thing to do is to disclose it, as minor as it might have been. I'm disclosing mine, even though it was just cosmetic, and car has a clean carfax. I like to sleep well at night

I did reply, the poster of that message removed his comment because I showed that it was my blue 3 series, and it wasn't minor at all. It was like $7,000 worth of damage, but that car is long gone.
