Somebody bumped me in a parking lot. Think theres damage?
So im sitting in my bank parking lot talking on the phone, car is off, and some old man in a honda fit backs right into me. Of course the horn doesnt work i assume since the cars off. I jump out, call the fuzz who say they wont show up. No visible damage, scraps, or dents or marks in anyway. I have the guy sign something saying he backed into me and I didnt rear end him, we exchange info and thats it.
I assume that a >10mph wouldnt hurt anything? No obvious exterior damage, but is there anything in the engine bay or under the bumper I should look for as clues to damage? And no there aint no pics but there aint nothing to see.

At parking lot speeds there shouldn't be any serious damage. As long as there is not damage to the paint in anyway and your bumper still aligns fine then I believe you're good to go.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. I dont think there are any good aftermarket front bumpers anyway haha. Might make the guy send me some touch up paint though.

I would check all the rear areas to ensure that there is nothing mis-aligned, etc. Check on those gaps in between rear parts. Maybe, spend a good 10-min under bright lights. Now's the time to check.
