400 RWHP Club?

What does it take to reach the 400 RWHP club with just bolt ons and no forced induction?

would the following get me there?

-akra evo full system
-dinan pulley
-dinan intake

even though you mentioned without forced induction, there's gonna be quite a few posts still saying ESS. lol.

Good luck to you, as wish to know as well.

I think there's headers you can get as well.
different differential?
lighter wheels will help with acceleration as well.

hahaha ess. forced induction will come at some point.

i checked dinan site though and headers dont add much. differential wouldnt add power on a dyno though or wheels. lets see what others say

intereting. so what i described should put me over 400, give or take ~10hp b/c akra doesnt add as much as test pipes, and the effectiveness of the tune.

theres nothing else than exhaust, intake, pulley and tune though?

Also the Epic Motorsports Flash tune.

This particular M3 (forum member Kaiv) is abused on the track as well as daily driven.

eh who cares about the street legality. an officer isnt gonna look under the 80k car to look at whether there are test pipes, akra, oem, etc..and if he does, then he'll get a head ache from all the carbon monoxide and emmissions and in court all ill have to say is "he was confused and not in a normal state of mind" and itll get thrown out

Randy Mueller (Epic Motorsports) is a very well-respected name in the BMW Motorsport community. We have had excellent results in the ESS E-Flash as well.

Here's an example we dynoed with a member using Evolve software:

I've used Epic (Randy Mueller) for all tuning on my E46 M3 that has won NASA Nationals for the past 2 years. His tuning knowledge on BMW's is unmatched IMO, and his customer service is awesome.
I tried others, but no one came close to getting the power out of the car that Randy could. Not sure why Epic isn't as popular with the S65, but he has consistently achieved higher dyno numbers on S54's compared to other tuners.
I'm building an E92 M3 race car now, and no doubt, Randy will do the tuning on that too.

As much as many of us want to hit that 400whp NA Benchmark, I would try to focus more so on the change in power. These E9X M3s dyno stock very inconsistently throughout the world and for various reasons. When stock, there is evidence of stock E9X M3s having such a wide range of results all on the same type of dyno in similar conditions, but chances are they perform nearly identical.

I would roughly estimate that a primary cat delete, pulleys, intake, and a proper tune (Epic, Evolve, ESS, or BPM) would yield roughly 40-50+whp.

This ^ ^. Flip knows what he is talking about probably better than most here.

Here's my 2cents: 1) Because torque is lacking in the mid-range, a catless mid-pipe will do wonders in increasing torque from just off-idle and through the mid-range (where the M3 needs it) all the way to redline; 2) get a tune which increasing redline to 8,600-8,700. Start with these two things...and my guess is that you won't care about your dyno number. Your car will FEEL much faster and WILL be much faster.
