Paint protection film
I collected ny 'new' 09 E92 M3 last week. 10 k miles
As it doesn't have a mark on it, I wondered about the above, as my last M3 suffered a lot from paint chips and I would like to avoid this if at all possible. Anyone have any experience with these products- do they degrade or damage the paint, and is removal straightforward. Also any idea of cost please for coverage of all frontal leading edges including wing mirrors and whole front air dam. |Thanks |

I had mine done by Paintshield who are by Corby. I had previously had the do my Porsche and for what it costs is a no brainer.
They do 3 packages from memory, a Half Front kit which is front bumper, bonnet only up to half way and wing mirrors, a full front package which is bumper, all the bonnet and wing mirrors or they do the whole car. I had the full front package but also had the sills done too and it cost about £1k. My car is now 2 years old without a blemish. Give them a call for a quick price |
