Satin Black exhaust tips are just SEXY!!

I had the Bastuck exhaust for sale FOREVER and had not takers, so I decided the RISS was too loud and I would get the Bastuck ceramic coated and maybe get a midpipe to get some added volume, since it wasn't quite loud enough.
I think they turned out great and the look is what I wanted. The build quality of the exhaust is excellent. It's build like a Panzer tank. I've always loved the tips, even before the coating.

As a side note, the day after I sent the exhaust to the coaters a buyer PM's me, then 3 days later a SECOND guy PM's me saying he also wants the exhaust!!!

Before the Ceramic Coating:

AFTER coating. The car's not clean at all, but you get the idea:

Looks great Aus.

And you did it the right way. (high-temp ceramic coating)

Great high-quality exhaust + custom flat black 'stealth' tips = WIN

I like it both ways. It actually looks similar to the GTS exhaust in the unpainted form IMHO.

It looks great, I am going to go this route as well. I like the quality, the looks, the fitment, and the noise levels are exactly what the car needs without being annoying!

It cost $225. I'll post where I got it done later tonight in the Cali section when I get home. I don't have the info with me since someone dropped it off for me.

Tips before and after look really good. If it was mine I would have left them alone because before the coating they looked absolutely excellent IMO. But to each his own, I guess!

LOL. That's why I got the can coated too. You really can't see it in person... unless you're sitting on the ground like I was taking that pic.

Thanks and I was surprised to learn the powder-coating is only good for about 600F and an exhaust can get much hotter than that.

The GTS is an Akra, which is a couple steps up, but thanks.

That's what I'm thinking too. It's just a little too quiet as it is now for me.

I loved them before too, but this will go with the look I'm going for.

The info on the coating and installer is here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=340204
