I agree, but the retro styling annoys me immensely. While I think Ford is starting to do good things now, I could go on for half an hour about how and why I think the last two generations of Mustangs are symbols of the decline of innovation and desirability of the US auto industry.

Why cant Ford loose the antenna. The previous car had it in the front(I hated it) slapping it on the rear fender only made it worst. I understand that it's a retro car but geez....that thing has to go.

You guys make me laugh !The mast antennas provide way better reception than the internal ones that BMW and so many other manufactures use.My trucks that have a mast type like the Stangs provide much better reception than in My M3 or the wifes 335.

So will IThe Mustang is not in the same league as an M3,but the great thing for enthusiasts that actually track their car is the fact that Ford has a lot of track options available for very little money through any Ford dealer.BMW does not even offer an upgraded brake system as part of the upcoming competion package. The Stang is a $40000 car that is offering 14" Brembo's as part of a $2000 "Track Package" which also includes a lot of real good track items like upgraded suspension pieces, gearing & coolers. This is on a car that is half the cost of an M3 and will be a heck of a lot cheaper to maintain if you track a lot.And will probally not be that much slower in qualified hands.
BMW needs to start listening to the people who actually use the cars as intended not just for posing.I will keep my M3 for the next while but my next track car might not be.
