Where does middle eastern money go?

So other than the fact that some of us can't even afford the emblems on his car. This fella just forked out 10 million USD on his license plates numbered 5 and 7. Sure is a happy thanksgiving.

Are these pics from Dubai? Apparently the closer the number is to "1" the closer you are to the head of the royal family... I don't think people can just pick any ol' number?

Thats Abu Dhabi, and btw i think he also got #1 for $14 million US, he said he would go up to $20 million of some shit like that

A lot of them come across to London - one of the favourite haunts still for the Arabs, splashing money, even to the extent of shipping their cars here to drive....

If that money was hard earned for something they had invented or distributed for the good of mankind, I personally would not have had any problem with it. Look at Bill Gates ...More power to him. I hope he makes more than he has now. If it wasn't people like him, we will still be using an abacus for adding numbers

In Dubai (and most everywhere else in UAE) doing business as a foreign company will require having a local "sponsor". Local sponsors in Dubai are nothing but guys like the one pictured above with blood connection to one of the 6 main clans who run the whole thing there. In return for their sponsorship, they own 51% of your company there (so you can never have majority ownership) and a percentage of your gross income (negotiable to some degree). This is how most money is made there. You see guys like him lounging all day in Starbucks and restaurants there with a laptop and a cell phone checking how much money they are making from OTHER people's hard work! They are nothing but leeches, for a lack of better analogy.

This is what a false economy is and this is why they are so vulnerable to slightest change and upheaval. And that is why they do anything to make sure the system stays the same because change equals death of extreme privilege for a very select few.
